Marcy N. Schwab is a Senior Partner based in Washington, DC, who is passionate about innovation, strategy, and developing corporate leaders. She advises CEOs and senior teams in the areas of leadership, product development, consumer insights, GTM strategy, risk management, and strategic planning. With executive and advisory experience in Financial Services, FinTech, HealthTech, and not-for-profits, Marcy is particularly adept at leading efforts in highly regulated industries. Her large corporate and Federal clients have included Visa International, SEC, NIH, Spark Pediatrics, Cerebral, Purchasing Platform, DHL, Marriott, Hilton, Sallie Mae, and Cigna. Marcy serves as an Independent Corporate Board Director, Audit and Risk Committee Member (former chair) for NYSE: BMTX. Prior to her consulting work, she was a senior executive at Capital One and Sallie Mae, creating de novo businesses to address new consumer needs. Marcy developed deep credit and risk expertise as well as product development and marketing experience in the banking and financial services industries. She built ground-breaking businesses growing credit and deposit portfolios through new product development, go-to-market execution, regulatory and compliance management, and operational excellence.
Earlier in her career, Marcy was a management consultant with Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), a senior financial analyst for Pizza Hut, Inc., and a part-time airport planner for the Maryland Aviation Administration.
Marcy has extensive experience serving on not-for-profit boards including Grad Bag, The Women’s Center, Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Washington, and the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. With a focus on children’s education, Marcy works with the team at JCRC as the education commission co-chair, representing Fairfax County, Virginia. She has also worked in development, fundraising, and outreach.
Marcy earned an M.B.A. in Management and Strategic Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S.E. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
