Our Origin Story
Our journey began with bonds forged at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where twelve MBA classmates built lasting relationships that would span decades. Together, we recognized an opportunity to create something greater than ourselves by combining our diverse expertise, knowledge, and networks. Yet our ambition went beyond creating a conventional consulting firm – we envisioned a fundamentally different approach to business advisory.
Our vision was shaped by our own experiences as C-suite executives and entrepreneurs. We had felt firsthand the frustration of seeking outside expertise, only to encounter rigid consulting models that emphasized staffing over solutions. We knew there had to be a better way – one that offered organizations more flexibility in how they engaged with senior advisors.
We set out to build what we wished had existed during our corporate careers: a consultancy that delivers practical, tailored solutions rather than prepackaged approaches. Our model emphasizes teaching and enabling client teams rather than creating dependency. We are operators at heart who embrace cutting-edge technologies like machine learning and AI, always focused on where business is heading, not just where it's been.
